Chalk Board
Love this. Adding an ever-changing canvas to the wall behind a bed...

Master Bed in Blue
Two rather inviting bedrooms. The first sporting a collection of framed antique scrolls from Tokyo and a 19th-century taxidermy zebra...
The second has an 1840's bed (found at an estate sale) as it's centerpiece. The bed has been dressed with a 19th-century matelassé coverlet and an Amish horse blanket...

R.E.M.
Oh my. CANNOT sleep at the moment. And I appear to be immune to natural sleep aids. But, perhaps this setting could do the trick...

A friend never defends a husband who gets his wife an electric skillet for her birthday. - Erma Bombeck
Luckily, that was not the case for me, as I got SUCH fabulous loot from family and friends... a cream porcelain 'food warmer' complete with coat-of-arms; a Thomas Paul Sea Life Turtle Tray from my daughter (a dead-ringer for our turtle Winifred, now known as Winston*); two exquisite goblets - also with heraldic shields; a vintage print of a sperm whale and a glass dome containing dozens of clothes pegs. Got a bit trigger happy with the pics, but had to include every detail...
*To my daughter's dismay, a recent gender investigation revealed that Winnie is, in fact, a boy.
